channels jumping ???

please help al my channels all my are jumping on my starview 3 box they are going between wide screen and normal all the time and also going pixilated and i have lost about 50 of my channels when ive tried to rescan to get rid of the problem i ave also tried to system reboot but still the same problem any help would be apreciated dave

 

oh i forgot it keeps rebooting aswell

 

What firmware version?

 

is that the bit were you go into system information where it says api ver : 7.05e_E ?

 

Yep thats it. Dependent on what batch type you have, try 7.09 and if that doesnt work try 6.01. Both are in Eamos at the bottom of my post.

 

thanks, i had 6.01. before and was working ok but some one told me i should put the one i have now on because it would work better, so do u think i should go back to that one or try the other i only ask because you's always seem to no what your talking about

 

If 6.01 was working fine for you then thats the one for you. Do a factory reset, turn off the box at the back switch for a minute and then back on. Then reflash with 6.01 and rescan.
