Im having problems making chapters on a few particular .avi files in NV4. Im using Nero 7.0.8.2, and some avi files work fine, but others will not allow proper chapters to be made. I can view the video in the previewer, but when I try to make a chapter, theres no snapshot for it in the chapter listing, and on the DVD itself, the menu frame for the chapter is replaced with a Nero logo, and selecting the chapter leads to a black screen. Has anyone else had this problem?
No, I haven't seen that problem before, but I might suggest you go to the editing page and look at the assets box. Hold the mouse over your files and note the specifics about each one, as far as type and size and frames per second, etc. and see if you notice any difference between the ones that work and the ones that don't. NeroVision has been having some problems with certain types of .avi files, depending on how they were encoded.
