Has anyone tried this? As in use the Iphone wall outlet adaptor, connect a usb cable to it, and connect the other end to the psp's charger port.

NOTE: i'm talking about the CHARGER usb cable, not data cable.

I don't have one of those cables yet, but from the ampere and voltage values, the charger might just work.... iphone charger has a lowere current value- 1A (Iphone charger), 3A (psp charger).

theorettically, it will charge it at a low rate but you will not be able to play it with charger and no battery.

I found my cell phone charger can power my old GBC, if that's relevant. If it's a 3.6 volt adapter for the iPhone, and the port is right, then go for it. Otherwise, avoid it for chance of frying the PSP.

lol my dad did that once

he plug a large voltage power cable (for a printer) into a portable CD player (one i found on holiday and it was better than the one i had) and BANG fried it in seconds lol

that was a long time ago (CD player lol) but i still dont like to risk stuff like this and say to people yer its fine go ahead when it could distroy the system

if you do find it doesnt charge/turn on then you will have only blown the power fuse so i supose its not to bad as you can bridge it

Post something that makes sense - not what you posted above.
