i'm trying to build a cheap computer for my parents, basically it just needs to surf the web, check email, you know the basics. i think i'm going to try putting ubuntu as my os, i've heard that its good as well as free. could someone give me their opinion of a good, but cheap amd build. i was thinking of a am2 brisbane chip, that would be fast enough for them, but don't know what motherboard or anything else.

Last year I bought my kids an AMD 4200 Dual Core, very cheap and very quick, they're probably a lot cheaper now or there'll be a newer equivalent AMD out now maybe.
