Where can I find a cheap motherboard and a cheap processor that is still worth buying without fear of breaking or slowing down in near future.

    shared audio, graphics

    AGP slot would be nice

    prefered atleast: 1 Ghz
    533- 800 Mhz bus
    512-1Mb cache

price about $50-$80 for each or >$100 for both.
not sure how realalistic that is I tried searching and found a lot of broken links and misleading links.
(ie AMD processor brought me to a camra carrier case from shopping.msn.com)

no matter where you are if your looking for a cheap pc solution go for a socket 754 asrock motherboard and a 754 sempron processor. this way youll get a 64 bit system that wont break the bank and will have pretty much evrything your requiring. the semprons tend to have only a 256 cache but you can get Athlon 64s for these boards aswell that have the 512 your after

    Thanks for the tip SyphertTek

    I have one more question.

If i get a 64 bit processor would that mean I would have to get a new windows OS that supports 64 bit processing?
