Well if you are limiting to buying a card from the UK - don't expect cheap.

www.dealextreme.com ship to UK and are cheap - just take a few weeks to arrive.

Although you are only wanting to play roms - do you want to play the latest roms and so regular updates of the firmware will be needed.

Avoid anything with the R4 in the name (all 40 of them)

Go for an Acekard, EZ flash, M3 Real - all around £10, then with an 8GB micro Sd the whole thing comes in at less than £25

    I would suggest HERE

    or

    HERE

The 2nd site is a little more money (47 cents) but I personally find their customer service better. But either site is about the same overall. You'll also need a good micro SD memory card, DX seems cheaper for those. I would suggest a Japan Kingston card... I've never had any problems with them.

No idea if there are places in the UK that have them... I'm in Canada.

And the DSTT cart is the cheapest I've seen.

The problem with the R4 - is that there are 40 different types, all with their own firmware, most have been updated once or twice, now they get no updates, depends if you want to keep playing new games.

The M3 real is a great card and $16 - thats currently less than £11, there are cheaper - but you do get what you pay for.
