You cant get a "chipped" version of Starview, do you mean a flashed Starview? As far as I am aware there is work going on in the Galway region and this is affecting your box.

I am not sure. I was told that the box was somehow upgraded so as it would not scramble when n** decided to scramble the channels. If there is work going on in the Galway area this is probably what has happened. Will I just leave well alone and see what happens, it has been off all day. Thanks again

Yep it was probably flashed with an autoroll version of firmware. First press menu and then system info and tell me what it says.

Are you on N** or Ch****? Sorry just noticed you are on N**, your 00 keys have changed. Press menu, type 1570, press nagravision and input these codes.

    Line 00 = A9 86 6E EA 39 EA 09 49

    Line 01 = 9E 40 85 78 E7 82 10 06

Make sure you press OK to store each line, although the change should be only on key 00. Exit and make sure key emu is on, then exit all the way out to view.

Have you checked that the codes are exactly the same and are stored correctly. Also check that your key emu is on.

What does it say on the screen?

Is that the codes you gave me or the ones that were already in there? Can you give me the full line of codes, sorry to be a pain. I have been checking the site and it seems a lot of people in the Galway area are having problems, even with the flashed boxes.

    No problem.

    Original key 00 = A9 86 6E EA 39 EA 09 49
    Change key 00 = A9 86 6E EA 39 EA 08 49

Only one number on one line to change. key 01 remains the same.

Maybe. One final thing you can try is to reset the default key and see if it will autoroll for you.

Press menu, type 1570 and press set default key. Make sure key emu is on. Let it update. Failing that it is definitely work going on and it will come back either way.

Gem, seems like a factory reset will solve your problem.
