Choices....(new ramm or new mobo)

    I have a DFI NF3Untrla 939 AGP Mobo

    the mobo is nice but a ram natzi half the ramm is incompatible with it I have 1GB of 400Mhz ramm but sicne the mobo hates the other brand of 400Mhz stick I have I am running on 512MB ramm so I have a choice new ram or new AGP mobo,ramm is 150-200 for 1-2GB of DDR 40.

    I wont have 160-230 for ram for 4 or so months

    get a new motherboard. Ram isnt changing much but their are alot of features on motherboards you can get. althought i se you are still using AGP i would recommend saving some money and maybe get a new MOBO and Videocard bundle while making sure it still works with your MOBO. thast my advice

    zippy most people will give you same advice as i did in your other thread. if you realy want to keep the agp, keep it in your dfi board and get some ram that it likes.

    if you get a new board i cant realy advise you to get one with an agp socket as that wont be supported beyond the current generation of graphic cards. you might find one that does both agp and pci-e which could fill your needs.
