CHOPPY DVD PLAYBACK-Windows Media Classic

    Does anyone have any advice on how to eliminate the choppy playback on my PC using windows media player classic? Playback is even worse with the VLC player. My dvd's play fine in my stand alone player and use to play fine on my pc. I run windows 2000 and use sony dvd's.

    Try Windvd or Power DVD. They both play DVDs very well and have free trials.
