Choppy Playback For AVI's with AC3 sound?

    Hello.

    Granted, I have a crap computer. I noticed I'd get choppy playback whenever I'd have the quality setting for Divx set on high. I"d be able to get a much smoother playback simply by lowering the setting.

    Now. I've noticed I'd get the same choppy, "stuttering", playback for any file with AC3 sound.

    So my question is simple. What can I do to get a smoother playback? What exactly can I adjust in the configuration? Anyone know?

    I gwt the exact same problem, I'd love to know the answer too.

    I have ther following setup:

    AMD 2400+
    768mb Ram
    Soundblaster Live!


    Anyone..?
