Hi Scouser, only signed up have a eurovox tx live in mullingar Ireland and having major signal problems, I think? Screen freezing, sometimes going green on the TV and then boot comes up on the box and its like it reboots itself. Have the basic chor*s package...ever heard of it mate? Robbie and Torres to torment them all this season I predict!!
Welcome but you shouldnt multipost. Your post will always be answered. What firmware have you got on the TX and how long have you had it?
Hi Mate, Sorry.. new to this game so will only post once in future... Not sure received my box the end of July and the firmware software was installed. Anywhere that I can look to find out. Here's a copy of a post from them from just after I received the box.. dont know if it helps... Hi. All you need to do is to connect the cable from your existing MMDS antenna into the Antenna socket on the Eurovox TX. The latest software has been installed for you, so all you need to do is scan the receiver from the menu & it will unlock the channels.
You could try to reflash it and this might solve the problem. But my recommendation as it came pre flashed from the supplier is send it back for a replacement under warranty. Your problem is not signal related if the box reboots etc. Its either a firmware or hardware issue.
Cheers scouser I can watch different stations at various times but within five to ten mins they go on me and most times the eurovox box reboots.
Channels I can help you with, but your problem is as said either firmware or hardware related. So you can either as said reflash or send back for a replacement. Reason I recommend sending it back, (and I know its a pain), is if it a hardware problem, a reflash wont help. But you are welcome to try a reflash if you want.
If I connect the chor*s box up to the tv instead of the eurovox its freezing too but not as much..... thats why I suspect I have signal problems too. But probably as well to get a replacement...?
OK heres another thing to do. As you have a subbed Ch**us box, (didnt know you had one), call them out to have a look at it,as you are having service problems. Obviously removing your other box first. It could be a faulty downconvertor or powerinserter causing your problem.
Should I get one of these from my eurovox supplier anyway, does it need one? Cheers for your help mate!
