Sorry, what i meant to say on the first post was that i can't find a bin file associated with chorus cable Cork. Is the setup different than that of the box t on chorus MMDS?

Thanks, i have done that and scanned on the Chorus and chorus cork . it finds 188 channels most of which have dollar signs next to them. i then go to the secret menu and set the default key and turned emu on. it then updates and one of the channels came on but when i went to change channel it froze and scrambled or bad channel comes up. What i had done originally before i posted this was loaded version 6 of the gtrom loader and also tried to load a bin file that was located in the box super folder. Since doing all that i have loaded the latest firmware as you suggested. would the lastest firmware have overwritten the old?

I have it flashed with 705e and i am getting channels. i have noticed since last posting that it needs to unscramble the channels individual which takes a bit of time. i have left that in the hands of my brother in law and will check how he got on later. Is this normal. i have recently set up the box t and when i was done i had all channels without having to indivually select/unscramble them.
One other question i have after i do an automatic scan for channels on the chorus network,go into secret menu ,set emu to on, set default key i checked the Nagravision key and noticed the provider was Ntl.Should i change this to chorus or just leave it.If anyone can provide answers on above questions and let me know if i am on the right track i would appreciate this. i might add this is my first attempt at one of these type of boxes.

If you go to menu > 1570 set default key press ok
    Turn emu on
Exit to s*y sports & let it update
you should have all channels & ch***s should be back as your provider.

So i don't need to change the provider or key in the secret menu.
you mentioned exit to sky sports, this is another thing i have not done.i was unaware that it had to be a particular channel. once i do that will all the channels be decrypted at once?

If you exit to any premium ch@nnel it will update for you. s*y sports is just one of them. you will have all your channels.
make sure your emu is on
    Set default key.

If your provider ID doesnt change then type in 5E 01 for ch***s

i don't think it matters if ch***s isnt the first provider that comes up when you go into nagra, just aslong as its there it's fine..also you should get more than 118 channels...go to manual scan..put in 274 as your freq, then 6.875 as your signal rate, enable network scan and then scan....you should be pulling in about 178 tv and radio channels
