chorus mmds-terrestrial

    hi guys.has anyone got an idea how long we have left on chorus terrestrial before we are hit with the dreaded nagra 3.

    Dont go there ...Might not come round . V expensive. Maybe too expensive & not worth it.

    hi again.i read on other forum that mmds in waterford is gone nagra 3. is it true and if so,i guess were all doomed.

    Hopefully Chxxus mmds might be left alone, only type to use terrestrial tuner, so I'm praying anyway as NXL mmds uses cable tuner same a true cable!

    Your spot on there, would be nice to know one way or another!
    Guess it's time to start considering what other options we have - just in case!

    yeah.maybe a moterized dish,but dont know much about them.

    In Tralee and so far, no channels gone down. From what i've managed to gather, it seems to be true cable it is affecting, not mmds (stand completely open to correction). Any updates welcome.
    Just enjoy it...

    yeah,in navan all ok.hopefully will last.if we get a few more months maybe fix will come out.

    Hopefully if Chxxus mmds is to changeover to N3, it will be the last to do so, and hackers will be making progress!
    We would have better chance though if it was introduced in the UK first! lol

    hi.from another forum i hear nthell mmds has been affected,just hope its a more difficult job for them to affect change to chorus-terrestrial given that its a differant set-up.
