Hi lads, Help needed. I have been trying to get a Chorus signal in Co. Limerick (Kilteely). I would be between the two chorus transmitters Woodcock Hill & Keeper. I have had engineer out, who said he could not get signal from Keeper & very weak from Woodcock not good enough this was with a 8ft pole on roof (bungalow). Since then I have been able to source a mesh/18v power supply 350Ma & downconverter 2500-2686Mz input & 220 - 480 output (ish). Hooked up my mates TX yesterday on a 18tf pole at side of house but could not get any signal what so ever. Anybody got any ideas, Also is the spec on the above equipment correct. I have some doubts about the range of the down converters. Anyone got any ideas
Its a good idea to check the analogue channels first via your TV tuner. Beside that the polarisation have to match the transmitter.
