Yep the ripper in anydvd is not going to work either, thing is even if you have clone dvd 2, you will be getting this message: E:/VIDEO_TS/VTS_09_1.VOB:read error The system cannot read from the specified device if reading the media has failed, please clean the surface and try again.(file 1 E:/VIDEO_TS/VTS_09_1.VOB 30 Picture Reader. So it seems to be a nasty encryption righ in the begining of the movie. I did backing it up using Mac the Ripper movie only and burning with DVD2one (of course on a Mac)
I used Ripit4me which took around 2 1/2 hours to complete. It came up with Dvd shrink and I chose Re Auth and picked the title that was the largest (Title 27). Dragging the title over to the left side. It went on its merry way and dvd decrypt came up. I copied the movie out to a blank disk. The outcome was that this movie will not play in my Sony blue-ray player, but it will play in my Pioneer dvd player. Has anyone encountered this happening to them? The movie plays fine on an ordinary dvd player just not in a blue-ray player.
It seems that older burners work.My two sata burners would not read but my older ide LG burner worked. Riped with anydvd.
My Sony IDE burner would not work(stopped at 1%), but my NEC IDE burner worked. Used AnyDVD 6.7.0.0 I wonder what's up with that???
whats your damn problem?.. us linux people ripped it the same as the last 50 films..easy as theres nothing new on this disk.. not even the content
restart your computer and have nothing running in background then use anydvd ripper to harddrive then dvdshrink then imgburn.
when I try option Rip Video DVD to Harddisk with Anydvd 6.7.4.0 I get to 1% Title Set 9 then get the RED X that says FileIO 3 vts_09_ 1.vob 80652288 555008 Then it aborts
Maybe you have a bad press of the movie. Is the disk dirty or scrathed. Try another copy. Sorry not much help
