Chromatic MPEG codec

    I have a video file on my computer, and using the program Videoinspector it tells me the video codec is Chromatic MPEG.(VCC=MPEG).

    Anyone know how to play this type of file?

    Install ffdshow and enable MPEG in avi. No idea why anyone would want to put MPEG1/2 in an avi container though.

    Thanks a million.

    I had installed a version of ffdshow earlier but it didn't have the option of enabling mpeg in avi.

    Works great now, thanks again
