i just bought a 100 spindle of cicero silver top and blue bottom from futureshop and cdridentifier tells me its taiyo yuden. Anyone else find these brands to be taiyo yuden or did I just get lucky
Me although i dont buy Cicero much _X_X_X_X_X_[small]ASUS A7V8X-X, AMD2500+ Samsung 1024MB, PC2700 360GB [3x120GB, 7200, 8MB] MSI Starforce, GeForce4 Ti4400 128MB[/small]
I'm considering buying the 100-cd spindle of these which are on sale this week. Can anyone else confirm that these are TY (even though the packagind indicates they are made in Taiwan)?
I live in Quebec and I bought these cd-r's last friday. I put one in my burner to find out that they were made by......Princo. I was very disapointed at first but I burnt about 15 of them without any problem and no reading problems. Very low C1 error rate and no C2. The finish looks really cheap(silver like) and show every finger prints but i was not able to remove it without using a knife so it's a good thing. The only thing I'm not sure is durability... Only time will tell. They play also very well in cd players and don't skip.
Can you please type the serial number on the center ring of any disc of those? Those might be Princos with a TY ATIP.
