    Hi lisa32,

You can clean it with some clean saopy water and a soft cloth. Windex is also good.

I hope that is some help,

    Pete

    Hi Lisa,

A CRC error is usally because of a dirty disc. If cleaning the disc doesn't work, try another original.

HINT: Try ripping with DVD Decrypter in both the File Mode and the ISO Mode. Also, in Tools ~> Settings ~> I/O tab, "tick" ignore read errors".

    Cheers,

    Pete

k did that. However, when the dvd+r didnt backup successfully it had this disc id: MCC-004-00. They r vertabim 16x dvd+r and bought them at best buy 25pk for 9.99. It's just frustrated b/c am losing lots of discs here....

    Sorry Lisa,

Since you didn't bother to tell us if it was while using Decrypter reading OR writing I assumed it was reading. If your problem is while writing, Adjust your DVD Target size to 4360MB and slow your burn speed to 4X. Even with Verbatim 16X it cannot handle Video files at that speed. 16X is for Data. I never go above 4X and have no problems while using Verbatims OR Tiayo Yudens.

    Burn on . . . .

    Pete

    Shrink
    Edit
    preferences
    General
DVD Target size, change from DVD-5 to "Custom" then type in 4360MB, then click, "OK"

You might wish to check all of your other settings in the Shrink / Decrypter guide in my sig.

    Cheers,

    Pete
