If i did a free trial with something, and then it gave me my code, and i hit again on accident, so now I can not use the free trial, what can I do to get my computer to not have a record of me receiving it? Does anyone know?

I remember there was something, system restore is not an option and it kinda sucks cuz I really need this program's free trial for a day or so.

I woulda posted somewhere else but this is the only board that actually has traffic.

you may want to look into some registry cleaner programs. a lot of times when you delete the program things still stay in the registry, which means you can not install them again without it p[icking up previous information.

all i know is this must be one very important program because i know nothing i would go through that much trouble for, especially with how easy it is to get "special" versions around the internet these days.

if your going to try the method of deleting it and then cleaning the registry, i would use CCleaner to lean the registry and take care of any temporary files.

CCleaner is freeware and you can download it here

Only works for "invalid" and junk entries.. you need something like "clean my registry pro" or somebody who is a real regedit wizard. Even then it's usually close to impossible because the registry isn't the only place the logs of installed programs are kept.

This is getting too close to cracking for my tastes.....

lets put it this way,you are not likely to get rid of the tag they left to identify it as a trial.even if you find some whiz to find it,and this is unlikely, wouldnt it be easier to just buy the program?beleive me,ive been there.
