I like to keep my hard drive clean after copying a movie or what ever. I see my local disk memory at 180gb. then i copy a 4gb movie or maybe 2. what ever i do. gb drop to about 160gb. after i copy movies i delete them from were they were saved. Local disk now may say 174gb. but i cant get the gb back to 180. how can i find the other places that is saving files from these movies.

What ever program your using to copy your movies, check the options on it to see where they are storing the temp files.

More than likely the program that you are using are saving the temp files somewhere and they are staying on your hd.

Just check the options on whatever program your using and tick the box where it says "delete temp files after copy" or something like that.
Most programs will have some sort of option like that.
