click repair

    hi
    i just got this new software called click repair..it also has another software called
    denoisier which i cant seem to get the hang of..if theres anyone here who has it can
    give me soume pointers or knows of another software of the same type let me know...thanks

    don't know those.. but they are just filters.. audacity has them as well.. just experiment with them to get the results you want. Often they can have unexpected side effects.. click removal can make everything sound wooly if overdone.. and denoisers can actually make a hissy tape transfer sound far worse by acting as a gate for all the hiss... which makes it much more noticeable..

    every transfer/capture is different, you just have to work out the best compromise on a track by track basis.. less is usually more..
