Clicking Links Problem

    ive just formatted my computer. Now every time i click a link, it wont work unless i hold Ctrl.

    Anyone know how to change this?

    Are you referring to web page links (like thoe ones in Internet Explorer)?

    When that happens, the first thing I would suspect is a pop-up blocker. IE7 has it's own pop-up blocker, so does IE6 with XP's SP2 installed. Also, it is possible that you have installed a 3rd party pop-up blocker. You should try disabling them first, along with IE's built-in pop-up blocker.
    And yes, a pop-up blocker shouldn't interfere with all links, but you can still give this a try.

    Other possibilities (altough a little waguely) may include spyware, *ware, or some sort of virus (less likely). Try scanning your PC with a virus scanner and an anti spyware program if you suspect this.
