ok you have an infection "C:\WINDOWS\system32\1024\ FOUND !" run SmithfraudFix in safe mode and delete run both "Spysweeper" and "Ewido" in safe mode also i never heard of your virus scan you might try a better one also. you can use the free scanner "house calls" at Trend Mirco
I reformatted and performed a clean install of XP. aabbccdd what are the better security suites/software so I can better secure my computer? Thanks a lot for the help.
ok great , your best bet for a virus scan program would be "Trend Mirco PC-cillin Internet Security 2006" this is what i use great program. NOD32 is good also. then use the "Trend Mirco Anti-Spyware" program also along with "Spy Sweeper" (theses are real time programs)important!! a couple free apps. you should have to is "Ewido" "Windows Defender" "CCleaner" "EasyCleaner" "SmithFraudFix" and "HJT" i have ALL theses apps. and have NO problems with my PC ever. shoot me back if you have any questions. keep in mind if your downloading movies/music etc. its going to cause problems
