cloned starview

i have a cloned starview and it was working for the last 10 months but when we had a code change entered codes and all i got was scrambled and bad channels turned box on and back off again done a factory reset ond turn the EMU on afther channel scan found 170 channels with a doller sign beside them but still getting scrabled and bad channels is the anything i can do to fix this problume or do i trow it in the bin.

have put this codes in on numbures ocation and im still getting the same thing scrabled and bad channels any other ideas.

p.s. read in a tread the a guy said make sure your not getting the letter o mixed up with the numer 0 what do you make of that

Yep that was me You are on Ch**us on the North side I can gaurantee that it is just a fault on the codes. This time press the default key first and then input the keys again.

 

i am on ntl

 

As said try the codes again but press the default key first, also make sure you are using the N** Ireland codes as opposed to the UK ones.

 

any other option that i can try as yes im on NTL Dublin

 

Are you plugged into the cable in port on the back of the box? BTW why not update your firmware to auto update the keys for you. I have to leave soon so if I miss you apologies.

 

hello sc0user sorry i dident reply to let you no how i got on but i was working. when i got back from working i try do turn on my box but now the box wont even turn on . any ideas what this might be

 

try the basic first plugged in at socket and switched on at back.

 

Open the box and check to see if the C11 capacitor is bulging or blown.

 

Hello Sc0user sorry i dident reply to you as my pc was down it wosent working. i bined the starview box i had and im thinking of buying a starview 2 box how can i tell the diffrence of a original and a cloned starview box 2 any help would be most helpfull

 

shouldnt have binned it i can fix it.

Just buy The Box Super, same as an SV2 except not cloned. It was brought out to stop the cloned boxes.

my fault scouser i was just trying to direct the guy away from clones...this is the guy i use and his boxes are the real deal.

 

as for info i have met the guy and he is a real genuine guy with real genuine boxes...he is from falkirk just outside glasgow.
