I have been using CloneDVD along with AnyDVD for several months without any problems. But I haven't been able to copy a dvd in the past week. It will work fine up until it starts to write the media to the blank dvd-r. Then I get a error message saying... "Writing to media was not successful, source data too large. Writer not capable of writing source as requested, Please use Copy DVD Titles or Clone DVD."... I don't understand as to why it would be doing this. Because like I said it was working fine until a few days ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Look to see if the temporary or source directory (e.g. clonedvdtemp\video_ts) is more than 4,692,000,000 bytes. A DVD can hold up to 4,697,000,000 bytes, but CloneDVD2 seems to have a problem when you get real close to that limit. Try renaming the video_ts folder to something else and close out of CD2 (so CD2 doesn't erase what's already there) and use the Write Existing Data option and find the directory you renamed. If it still doesn't work use Nero Burning Rom and a DVD-Video compilation. Alternatively, you can have CD2 re-rip to an ISO file and use IMGBurn burn it. This is best for double-layer discs. I don't know if CD2 creates MDS files but if it does have IMGBurn open the MDS, not the ISO and burn.
