I have noticed that when I use clonedvd with a DVD-R, it will not let me eject the copied disk without shutting down my computer first. I have let it just go to see how long the movie takes to finish after hitting 100% copied. It usually takes over an hour for me to be able to eject a recorded disk from the computer. However, when I use DVD+R, the disk pops out right away after coping. What causes this? And how can I fix this?

I use the same settings for both types of DVD discs. I did not activitate the shut down computer setting for either of these types of disc. After I ripped a disc, I burned it using the DVD+R and it popped right out. I then inserted a DVD-R to make a second copy and it took over an hour to pop out after it hit 100% copied. I would try to shut down Clone but my computer would register that Clone was not responding and MSN would ask if I want to send an error report. I just shut the computer down and popped the disc out after rebooting.

I have used Memorex and TDK. My burner is an HP. I use the same burner when using Shrink and DVD Decryptor. I don't have this problem using DVD-R with these two programs. Only with Clone.

Memorex and TDK are some of the worst blank media on the market. you should use Taiyo Yuden and or Verbatim
