I was able to use this program fine until I got a bunch of virus;s I had to remove. Now when I go to use it, I get about 85% thru the cloning process and it says: creation of dvd files not successful scheduler 0 D:/Video_ts/VTS_01_4.VOB:23:read error TCSectionReader TCE can anyone tell me what I need to do?
Have you tryed backing up other movies or does this always happen with every movie? Because it will most likely be dirty disc or scratched. If its happening with every movie then try uninstalling and if you havent got the lastest version i would suggest downloading it and install that. If it still happens give DVD Decrypter or DVD Shrink ago.
I have un-installed and re-installed and some movies will burn but others I am still getting the same message as above. These movies I have been able to burn in the past. Is there a specific file I removed that Ishould not have that is creating this error?
What is the name of the movie(s) that produce this error. what version of CloneDVD are you using? What version of AnyDVD are you using? You mentioned viruses. Did you get a message from CloneDVD concerning viruses? Whisperer
Hi thanks for helping! I am running anydvd version 5.2.4.2 CloneDVD2 2.0.7.3 I didnt get any messages from clone dvd but when I ran my virus scan I had a bunch of them. I still have malware psguard that I cannot get rid of!! a couple of the movies I cannot clone are xmen, chicken little, memorias of a geisha. thanks!
You cannot backup those movies because you are WAY behind in versions of both programs. All the movies you listed are using new structural protections that didn't exist when the versions you are using were released. You are two years behind in CloneDVD and more than a year behind in AnyDVD. The entire industry of DVD copy protection has evolved way beyond you. Why haven't you updated? Go here get the latest of both Clone and Any. http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html Install them. They will recognize your existing keys. Don't ignore the reboot choice button after the installation process. Install one program, then reboot. Install the other, then reboot again. Don't cheat and install both and then reboot only once. whisperer
Or try DVD43. Same idea as AnyDVD, just doesn't have all the bells and whistles: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_tools/dvd43.cfm
