clonedvd2 can do double layer, but it is worthless to me if I cannot booktype to cd-rom. Most people cannot play dvd+r discs and therefore why would anyone want clonedvd2 when they can use dvdshrink/nero for most single layer transfers and dvddecrypter for double layer. Correct me if I am wrong here!
Why would anyone wanna use DVDCopy2, Nero Recode, Shrink etc etc to backup a double layer anyway. The point in getting double layer discs is to bebale to do a 1 to 1 copy of the whole DVD without compressing. The only other reason is to take out some stuff but why bother when you have the room to do the whole disc without compression.
Sammy22-- I often use CloneDVD2 AND Booktype the disks to DVD-Rom--You have to set the burner to burn all + type media to ROM--I personally have a Lite-On 1673 and burn ALL + type media to DVD-Rom--You are right about it being easier with DVD Decrypter though--just thought you should know that MANY burners can be set to always burn ROM-- Whitfield
guess your saying im not intelligent. but why dog DVDcopy2 on cloning DL disc. It is kinda pointless to run it through DVDcopy2 when you can do a 1 to 1 copy with nero or DVD Decrypter and not send it through a recoding program at all. I used to be a Nero Recode2 fanatic till I used DVDCopy2 to do Sky High and now thats all I use 90% of the time. Of course I dont use DL disc yet. Not till they get lower in price but IMHO AnyDVD and DVDClone2 are great programs when used togther.
