I have CloneDVD2 and am wondering if it booktypes DVD+R's? I know Nero does this automatically. The reason for asking is I cannot get my DVD+R's to play on my XBox. The backups play perfect on my stand alone DVD player. Not that this is a big issue to me as I almost always am watching movies on the stand alone anyways. My DVD-R's works perfect in the Xbox. Is this just a differance in DVD+R to DVD-R?? I know this questions spans alot of issues but any help would be appreciated.
Xbox isn't designed to play +R. It's set up like the older players. This was done because more people had the old ones than the newer multi-format players. Your xbox would have to be modified to play +R. Of course, you could just burn -R disc. The battle rages on as to which format is better. I use +R but only because the burner that came with my computer is +R/RW. -R does seem to be the cheaper of the 2. Happy burning!
