When I copy a movie with CloneDVD2 and use Copy DVD Titles it ocassionally breaks up near the end of the movie.

When I use Shrink to copy the movie to my hard drive and then use CloneDVD2, Write Exixting Data format they are nearly always perfect.

I am using Ty-Yuden media with my new Phillips burner also HP burner.

Is there any way to use the Copy DVD Titles all in one process without it breaking up?

Movies27, what kind of burner do you have and what kind of media do you use. I have a Phillips burner and use Ty-Yuden media. I often, 10% of the timre, get the movie breaking up near the end of the movie using just CloneDVD2.

If I copy to my hard drive with Shrink and do not shrink and write with CloneDVD2 I am 99% perfect.

Are you using the dvd-5 option or are you using your own custom setting?

If your movie is breaking up at the end it usually means you have burnt to near the end of the disc.

Where do you buy you TY's from?

What is the model number of you Philips? You can flash it to a BenQ and get better results if you wanted, but there are risks.

    Is your firmware upto date?

Yes, I am using DVD-5 option
Does CloneDVD2 automatically make the setting about burning too close to the end?

    I get my Ty's from http://supermedia.com/ and http://meritline.com/

    My burner is a Phillips DVD+-RW DVD8801

You mention BenQ is that to replace my Phillips?

    Thanks

Your Philips is a rebadged BenQ 1650. In other words, All the hardware inside your Philips is a BenQ There are only two things different A) the firmware B) you have the Philips name on the drive

The BenQ 1650 is a brilliant dvdwriter.

You could use the custom function in clonedvd 2 and set it to 4400MB. which is just a bit smaller than the dvd-5 setting in clonedvd.
