alright is it even possible to play people from the us? im in uk and when trying to join a party with some of you AD'ers i always get a host connect error! i thought they updated this 2 weeks ago when they took the servers offline. for one of the best multiplayer games available it sure is weak in the server department!
it is possible the server load is quite immense as you can imagine the number one online game would have so it cuts corners by making the connections that are farthest away weaker and there is your said problem its not the game but the server space that is limited just keep trying and you shall connect my friend lives in the uk and he and i play almost every day and 1 out of ten is cut out
this is why i sold my copy of cod4 as online kept doin my head in and it took ages 2 search and connect to a game.
never had any problems with my connection, it just took ages to come on, i play pes and nfs prostreet online allot and it comes up straight away, just always slow with cod4, 4 sum reason.
I used to be having that problem. I found that if I played at certain times during the day that it was sometimes better and sometimes worse. Recently though I have been having no problems whatsoever joining games
i had connection issues when after a while i think it was more and more folks trying to play the game online, from what i can tell they dud some sever updates as a few things have changed like wet look etc is now coming up pn free for all and the points went to 100 and now up to 125 so i'm guessing things have been changed. also since then it's fine you some times get no game and it starts a new lobby which gets folks in after a few mins. if needs be thou i quite lobby try again and it usually works
i think PAL ps3 games cant connect to NTSC. I have tried to connect to my friend in england who has a american account as his main account and it wont connect... I have not had an issue finding a game tho, thought i did at first but u gotta be patient
