So...Can I play backed up PS3 games yet...just kidding! I actually have a real question. COD4 is close to the best game that I have ever played, in fact, it rarely leaves my PS3. I got COD5 and I hated it, but that's besides the point. I have noticed that RB6V and V2 are really coming down in price right now. Are either of these games worth buying? Is one better than the other? Will I play either of them or COD4 still the best game out right now?
I am the same after all this time i always go back to cod4, i liked cod5 to begin with but the guns on the multi player are crap! I have played resistance2, its ok but still go back to cod4!! I am awaiting killzone2 but i still think i will return to cod4 unless killzone2 online is even better! I am looking at killzone2 as a stop gap until modern warfare2 comes out later in the year!
I liked rb6v1 more but that's just because of when and the group of guys I was playing with, now its pretty basic and the servers are a bit laggy compared to newer games. rb6v2 is pretty decent though, its basically identical to the first one but it adds a sprint button, more guns and maps and a new exp/unlock system.
RB6 games are pretty good. They're not "run and gun" games like COD. There's a lot more strategy and tactics used. The guns are pretty good too. I would recommend them to anyone who likes shooters, especially for the $25 price tag. But that being said, you'll probably end up going back to COD after a while.
Gameplay is awesome online. If you like team deathmatch type games RB6 are the best IMO. It has realistic, customizable weapons and a great cover system. I'm not sure about server problems or anything like that on the PS3 ver. because I use my 360 for online gaming. But these games are pretty fun online. I'm sure way more people play the COD games right now though, so it might be harder to find matches.
as previously stated, rb6 is way more tactical. you dont just run around shooting like cod 4. cover is key and communication is as well which is why i only play it on 360- not enough people communicating with each other on psn for me.
Glad to hear I am not the only one going back to COD4, I honestly think is the best game out there when it comes to online gaming, i tried COD WAW and I have to say I did not like it...
I love RB6V2. Story mode is great, I like to co-op story mode as well. When playing alone, or after completing the story mode, terrorist hunt is great. Been playing for about a month now and still as fun as the first day. Don't play it online so I can't comment on that. I'd say ya get it
