Alrighty folks... I'm rather new at this... so please help. I am trying to install and run Code Majic for a friend onto his PS2. I have with me the following: 1 unmodded/unexploited PS2 1 USB Jumpdrive 1 Codebreaker Disc (v10) 1 PS2 Memory card (with plenty of space) 1 Copy of "Road Rash" (c.1995) Now... I gather that I can go from point A (being an unexploited ps2) to point b (a ps2 with the availability to exploit to run codemajic) by altering a file labelled "title.db" and sending a copy of an exploited boot file by the name of randomfilenamehere.cbs. I have tried many available tutorials and have yet to complete the exploit. Please help me. Programs I have: PS2 Save editor The IDGet program for the Road Rash disc ID (SLUS 000.35) The most recent download of codemajic Titleman Frontend (for .cbs editing) what else am I missing/need to do?
I am experiencing the same problem. I'm beginning to think that codebreaker v10 is the culprit. Usually, codebreaker v8.1 is referenced in these aging tutorials. My trigger disk boots every time, and I can't find an older copy of codebreaker.
I'm having the same exact problem too. I'm still looking for an answer. I can't get past the trigger disk because it keeps booting up. I"m use PS-ONE Action Bass as trigger disk and I keep loading up the game itself instead of the exploited. I need help.
I found a link that answered all my problem... The link is for a compressed ps2 independent file... it worked fine for me... thanks... http://ps2dev.org/kb.x?T=1069
