Hey im kinda new at this forum but i was wondering if any one could help me with a problem with a copied code breaker you see i can easily boot it with a mod chip on my fat ps2 but after i try to put a back up game a message appears saying it cant boot it then i tried it this way i put the code breaker and put cheats on then i start swap magic 3.6 but as i remove the disc it says it needs a bigger toc then it does that refresh thingy i try to boot it but it says its not a valid ps2 disc and my ps2 is mod chipped i eve tried with my slim ps2 which has those magic keys but when i try to boot the code breaker with the swap magic 3.6 the screen turns black and then some gray lines appears and then the whole image goes away does any body know how to make it work (the mod chip im using is matrix infinity)

When you open the disc tray/top when at the swapmagic screen, it thinks you're trying to update the TOC to something larger than the swap magic disc. That's why you have to do an undetected swap, otherwise the ps2 will check to see if the disc is valid or not. As for using codebreaker, when you put the codebreaker disc in, your modchip boots it. But I'm guessing it deactivates after that, meaning it can't boot a second disc. Read your modchips instruction manual to see if there is a dev mode you can go into to boot multiple discs. You could also look into soft modding your ps2 so that you can boot a codebreaker elf without using any discs, then from the codebreaker elf, directly boot your game. I don't know if modchips play well with FMCB, I've never used one. But it couldn't hurt to try. If it doesn't work, you can just erase FMCB from your memory card and try something else.
Dont trust the mod files from torrent sites padmouse some kids have been playin with the code in some of them and caused more bugs than i care to imagine. But Yeah ulaunchelf is the way to go and with a modchip you could boot the iso of it. I use sksapps.com a lot for my soft mods take a look over there they have tutorials for almost everything and if you cant find what your looking for just ask they are a friendly bunch
Hi if none of this works i heard that with an original codebreaker you can boot cheats the go to swap magic 3.6 and press square to start the games with cheats but what version should i buy which has more codes? and better game compatibility?
one last thing ok if i get ulaunch and burn it into a dvd what do i do then how do i use it to make codebreakerv10 work? thank you all.
There is a way to make it a bootable disc, but i can't remember off hand how to do it, but if you search a few forums im sure youll find out how and just run it off there then copy the uLe elf file to your memory card. Like i said in my earlier post i dont use hard mods but i have read that chips use dev 1 and 2 etc so you should be able to set it to one of those and boot straight into it with a simple button press at boot...
