Hi all I have a Dyne "Clue" model DR1512 digital audio player/recorder. The file formats that it records in have file extension ".tvf" when voice is recorded at lowest quality resolution, and extension ".tcv" when it is recorded at any of the other 4 quality resolutions. It originally came with a CD with some software called "Express Media Player". Sadly I have lost the CD and need to reinstall the software or use alternative means to play these files (either or both types). Windows Media Player does not recognise the format. I had a search of this site for codecs that support these extensions but no joy. Any help out there? Thanks.
check out the manual or go online and look for the manual for more info. it will probably tell you more info. it might be a proprietary format that you need the software to convert it to another format like mp3 or wave for wma. you should be able to get the manual and software for free at the manufacturer's website.
Thanks for trying to help. I did try to find out from the manual but it was no help (unless I missed something): http://www.jetsecurityusa.com/download/MN-NewClue.pdf Bad news if it is proprietary format. A bit bizarre as it will play mp3 and wma, so what the hell was the point in saving recorded files in other formats beats me. I shall probably have to end up ditching it. Old tech now, anyway.
