Codec problem

    Hi there,
    I am trying to use a whole host of convert DivX to DVD programs and each keeps crashing. It appears to be a problems with avcodec.dll. I have just install the K - Lite codec pack, will this sort it out?

    If not any idea what will?

    I would say that you should uninstall all codec(s) (inc. codec packs).
    Then install FFDShow and AC3Filter.

    That should be all you need.



    I did use that K-Lite for some time, and had no problems... So why change it, if it works?
