My media player can play some of my movies but not all. I went and downloaded the Codecs from the Microsoft site but I still cant play a few movies. It says Cannot render some of the pins in the graph you may not have to proper codecs or filters installed. Well I installed the Codecs whats it talking about filters will that help me get my movie going? It searched but it cant find any for me. However I can get the sound of the movie just not the video.. Does anyone know what needs to be done?

Try using VLC player, or if you want it to work in your current player try installing the k-lite codec pack.

Make sure u have the latest codec pack as was said and also make sure u have multiple players like a Divix player and a player that has its own kernel engine so it doesnt rely on windows kernel engine.

    These 2 come to mind.

    Divx Player

    Rad Player

    Good Luck.
