codes

Can antbody help me, ive got all my channels but they are all scrambled and i don't know how to put the codes in......its a DV3 the box,,,,,,,,

To input keys manually :

press menu
press 1570. (this takes you into secret menu)
Press OK on "nagravision"
Make sure your cable provider is listed at top N*L or T***WEST C&W CHO**S ect
Go down to "Key Number" and check its on 00
Go down again to "Key Data" and input the correct keys
Press OK to store
Go back up "Key Number" and change to 01 using the > button on the remote control
Go back down again to "Key Data" and input the correct keys
Press OK to store
Press "Exit" , Check the bottom option and make sure "Key EMU" is On
Press Ok again
Then "Exit and "Exit" again back to the main tv screen
Then go to a paid channel and should update .

 

hi celtic sorry for being stupid but wen i press menu it won't let me put in 1570 it only gives me an option to installation etc

 

Try it again and make sure you do it slowly and point the remote at the SV b0x

Can you press Menu then System information and tell me what the API is please

hey celtic 71, are u out there........put in new codes for today and nothing is happening, all channels are still scrambled..

 

There's been a few code changes today check here that you have the latest ones in and that you press OK when finished enetering them to store them

hey co19 not sure if the latest codes i have are correct they don't seem to be working

 

They are the right ones karen make sure you're entering them right and storing them when finished

Unfortunately not, all you can do is make sure you have the latest firmare for your box which will auto update itself when the codes change.

I don't think you can fix up a dvd to make it region free but I may be wrong on this but I don't think you can do it.
You should post your wuestion in the dvd,tv electric etc forum that's on this site you might get a better answer there

 

Press Menu > System Information and tell us what the API is please

Also

You will need to know if you have a clone or genuine

Count the vents on top

18x7 = Clone
25x7 = Genuine
13x7 = 1st Generation

Also looking from the front
Scart to the left = Clone
Scart to the right = Genuine

If it's a DVP-3020, try this;(make sure there is no disc in the player, or you can't get to preferences)
Press "Setup"
Scroll to "Preference" using the LEFT/RIGHT arrow key
Press "138931" and a pop-up screen will appear.
Use the UP/DOWN arrow key to choose the desired number ("0" for region free).

If it's a DVP-3020K, try this;
1. Turn on the unit
2. Press System Menu
3. Go to Preference
4. Press 138931
5. Scroll up or down to choose “0”
6. Press “OK”
