Coheed and Cambria emo or not

    I was debating with a friend that coheed and cambria is not emo. He thinks it is. What do you think?

    Ok well emo music has a lot of different flavors. Emo stands for Emotional... but the genre is broad.... Coheed and Cambria are a lil rock and a lil progressive and a lil punk...soooooo in my opinion Coheed isn't emo. Dashboard, TBS, Yellowcard, Deathcab...thats emo... Ok here's my def of EMO...if you go to a show and people aren't dancing then its emo...people rock out at Coheed shows...soooo...not emo. \


    but it seriously could go either way...
