Hi there, I'm trying to flash a digivox I got. I've got a USB Serial Converter to connect the box to my laptop but if I run the downloader(10), I've to choose between COM1, COM2, COM3 or COM4, however if I check the COM port numbers in device manager, the lowest COM number there is 8. Whichever usb I put it into, the COM number is always too high. Anyone able to help? Some way I can change the COM8 to be COM1 or something? Sorry if it's a stupid question! I've search around this forum but couldnt find anything to help besides telling me how to check the COM number. Cheers. Edit -- Sorry just found out myself elsewhere online. If there's a mod or admin to delete this then fire away.
I am sure that COM 1 and COM 2 and the rest are all there, but you will have to scroll up to find them. Hope this helps
