can someone help please iv a usb serial converter connected to my laptop and null cable but when i download new firware it says no com port i did't get a disk for installing a driver for the converter i just plugged it in and it seemed to install can someone help please
have you got your box set to the correct com port go to my computer wiew system info-hardware-device manager-select coms&lpt Duoble click find your usb adapter go to port settings-advanced and make sure your usb is set to between 1-4 whichever's available
thanks karljd that done the trick can i ask you i had 94 channels before i flashed my box i still have 94 channels i used symbol rate 6887 i was wondering how can i get the liverpool channel i live in north county Dublin thanks for the help on the port problem
Im guessing you are with N*L ? If so ... You should be getting about 140 TV ch@nnels Did you follow the guide here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/653745 Liverpool TV 394.250 If you are missing frequencies : To add these go to menu,installation,user installation and use the on button guide to add frequencies ( Green / Channel Edit , Red / Add Freq ). Info button will name them as you like . For any frequency that you want to manually scan you select it in your list first by pressing OK when it is highlighted, ( a tick will appear beside the one you select), then you press the blue button to manually scan that frequency.
hi i tried that but did't work i was looking at the quality bar its in red reading between 10% and 30% also i put in 6887 as symbol rate
Are you N*L cable or N*L MMDS ? Are you using the b0x from the main feed or a splitter in another room ? Have you done a factory default and a fresh installation and scan ?
im on n*l im not sure what im on if its cable or mmds i think theres a outside aerial in the apartment complex where i live when i moved in there was a n*l main feed in living room and bedroom im using the one in bedroom also how do i do a factory default also if i do a factory default would i have to flash my box again with the new settings
not really sure what your asking,is it wether your on mmds or normal digital?have you any channels?what box have you got?be a bit more specific and all your questions will be answered.
i have 94 channels i live in north dublin im on n*l iv the black euromax 2008 box iv up dated with the new firmware iv tried putting in the code for liverpool tv but thr signal bar is red it wont find the channel also other people in dublin can get 138 channels why cant i can you help please
iv tried all the freq i got off other thread but they dont work also the signal bar turns red when i put them in here are my freq that i get 94 channels from 258 274 290 306 322 338 354 370 386 symbol rate 6887
