ok im in london , im telewest cable, iv a the box super im tring to use the latest firmware GTRom_Super_8.04e, got null cable today, inserted in the pc, and the box, clicked download, and got error, cant open serial port -last error:the system cant find the specified device so went into device manager and theres no com/ports menu please help
in device manager select the device which you wanna change go into advanced dettings it should be in the network adapter connection select it and go into its settings and change its port
when i connect the box through the null modem cable noting moves in the list in device manager, its just not connecting, i also got a loan of laptop today, and the same thing again, by the way iv done this 100s of times im from dublin, and sold them at home iv never had this problem, ill also mention they were bot dell computers just incase lol
