    Hi all...

I just joined two avi files into one big file with virtual dub. Can I now delete the two seperate files and just keep the one "new" file? Also, what is the difference with virtualdub and virtualdubmod? Which is better for joining files? Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Sure you can - if you're sure you will never need the two original files again.
View the new AVI (sometimes spot-checks not enough) to confirm this. Is all the A/V synch perfect?
VirtualDubMod is 'new and improved'. It is the one most used for everything. You should use it. Celtic_d says it works with AC3 and VBR MP3 now, and I don't need NanDub (another variation) anymore.
We all 'owe' the original VDub by AveryLee our thanks though :^)
    Do you make AVIs?
    Regards
