Hi, i have searched throughout the forum and tried many things, but i still get the following problem. I have two .AVI files which i want to combine into one, so i can then convert them to DVD. Using VirtualDub, i opened the 1st file, and got the following message: VirtualDub has detected an improper VBR encoding in the source AVI file and will rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values during processing for better compatibility. This may introduce up to 29955 ms of skew from the video stream. If this is unacceptable, decompress the *entire* audio stream to an uncompressed WAV file and recompress with a constant bitrate encoder (bitrate: 130.0 ± 24.0 kbps) I clicked Ok, and when playing the file on VirtualDub the sound is so far ahead of the video. I then clicked File > Append AVI Segment and got the 'cannot append segment, the audio streams have different sampling rates (16253.0000 vs 16043.0000)' error. so i then copied the same method as what minion said on another post, and saved it, but when i play it even using windows media player the sound is too far ahead. Any way i can fix this? any help would greatly be appreciated!
