Hi, new here.. uhmn I've been trying to hook up my mom's HDTV to her HD box from comcast, which I was sucessful at doing(only took me a few minutes), however the colors are ridiculously wrong lol. Everything is so green.. but without the HD box on with basic cable, the colors are fine.

It's not a huge TV, just something for her room, and it only uses Component cables, not HDMI. The picture looks crisp and great looking, however the colors are wrong like I said. I don't know if this has to deal with something with the box itself, but I'm guessing it does.

Anyhow, if anyone can let me know if I did something wrong it'd be awesome. Like I said, picture shows.. but everything is really green, like people's skin color is very dull. I tried changing the TV color settings, however there is no RGB settings, and just a tint option that goes from red to green(which honestly doesn't help my cause much). Thanks in advance.

Cables connected correctly? i.e. red on red, etc.

Are they seated properly? Are you using a nice set of cables?

sorry for the slow reply.. yes they are seated correctly, and i'm using whatever comcast gave us with the box.

it's not that i don't have picture.. and it's in HD, it's just that the colors are way too green, and I have no RGB parameters. Like for instance, if you take a Sepia picture, but instead of the bronze look a Sepia picture is derived in, it's green.
