I'm not really into reading nero logs but, you could do with some more RAM, and the program can't see your media 'disc'

    Someone will be along shortly.

    best of luck

I'm not sure if its the media since I have tried DVD's and CD's both that work in my other recorder which is made by LG

In addition to the other guys' comments -

    - that's probably too old by now

    - maybe the firmware's out of date ?. Returing for the night so maybe someone can comment

    - yup, Nero is too old to recognise the drive

    - this is bad. you need more memory as i think you'll be hard pushed to free up enough memory by closing background processes as you haven't got much to start with. Running out of memory means you will be using virtual memory, which means a portion of your hard disc, thus your hard disc will be 'swapping' memory to hard disc, ie interfering with the burn

    - your drive can't recognise that CD (or CD is not blank)

fair enough, though it must be guessing or blagging at the 16x as it was moaning it couldn't recognise the disc before

    - ouch

    - ouch, i think arniebear has looked for this already
