Whenever I try and run a dos program, my command prompt opens fast and closes. Is there a way to fix it? I know how to do Start > My Computer > Accessories > Command Prompt, but I am trying to run a program that needs to convert something, so I need it to be able to open itself.
To make a DOS program work in Windows XP you have to go into accessories and then click on program compatibility wizard and then it will take you through a wizard that can make the program work.
