Using Nero 5.5.9 will not burn audio anymore. Creative CDRW8433E burner. Messages I am getting are 1. Internal target failure 2. Command Sequence failure 3. Could not perform end of track 4. Invalid write state 5. Power callibration error. It does a simulation fine but these messages come up once it starts to burn.Will sometimes go through several tracks before this happens. Any help would be apreciated.
First, your Nero is too old, update to the latest 6.6.0.18 if you can. Secondly, "power calibration erro" means you need to try better media like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim or Maxell (made in japan) and make sure your burner has the latest firmware, if not, then you'll need to update to the most current. Finally, let's have the "very last section" from your Nero logs and creaky (our super friendly Moderator) will help to tweak you through (and or I'll volunteer to help too, hehehe). Go here to get your Nero log: C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\NeroHistory -- now REMEMBER to EDIT out your Nero serial (something like 1A23XXXXXXXXXXXX) before you're going to post here.

the first part of the log is missing. we need from this line "====== *** Nero-Burning Rom, History File *** ======" to where you posted. but for now i can see you have Roxio installed - - CDRALW2K.SYS is part of Roxio. try uninstalling Roxio (doesn't always play well with Nero), then you might need to fully remove using Roxio Zapper - http://www.microadvantage.net/utilities
In addition, to what my buddy (creaky) had mentioned. Below is what I see. How old is your burner by chance? I'm afraid, but "KEY_HARDWARE_ERROR" is like a sign that your burner is starting to go/wear out. Make sure to update firmware regularly or whenever there's one available. Try to burn at 4X next time with high quality media like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim "Advanced Azo" and Maxell (Hitachi - made in japan). I highly recommend burning at 4X - it's the best and safest.
