I found a good deal and am about to get them. However I see all these posts complaining about Imation's CMC made cdr's?

Did anyone got these spindles before and any comments on them?

    I uses a LG 40x/12x/40x burner... the 8400B one

all I use is imatation and i never had a problem
I think it depends on the dvd player.

Imation/CMC are not recommended - you can certainly find better deals out there. Read the sticky threads.

I dont get any problems using Imation CDR's either - music can be heard, films can be watched, data can be retrieved.

But the level of C1 Errors at any burning speed, with any batch of Imation stuff does worry me (Talking about the CMC Stuff here, not the very rare TY ones)... especially for the longlevity of the discs

Usually get Max C1 errors of 300 or so, and a sector average of around 50... not good.
