Hi all, I installed LiteStep recently with success. I then installed the Obsidian theme and rebooted. I then got a message saying the theme needed some modules. I clicked on the link to download the modules and all of the downloads failed. I found the modules needed on various sites, and put them on a flash drive. I booted into knoppix and tried to drag the modules from the flash drive to the modules folder in the litestep directory which didn't work because I didn't have the right "permissions" to modify the folder. So right now I'm stuck with a useless computer! Is there any way to get this working properly? Or any way to just revert back to the default windows thing even?
Thanks ahead of time! I really do appreciate the help!

Have you tried booting to Safe Mode and uninstalling LiteStep?

LiteStep takes over in safe mode too, so I had the same problem of the missing drivers. Are there bootable windows discs? Because if I could use one I would be able to run the .exe file that reverts my box back to the defult windows shell (Knoppix can't run .exe files).

I got it working! What I did was boot up the comp in windows (the modules error message appeared) and went into the task manager and under "Applications" I clicked "New Task..." and then I browsed to the defult theme and clicked ok. A LiteStep message poped up saying the comp needed to be restarted for the changes to take effect, so I rebooted and the defult litestep theme started up with no error messages! I could have just used that theme, but instead I clicked on the icon on my desktop "Set explorer as shell" and rebooted again. And now my comp is back to the way it was before LiteStep!
